Geoff developed an interest in electronic systems at an early age. During his high school years, he and a friend developed a small enterprise in which they provided audio and theatrical systems for school dances and other events. Though their youthful business plan was not a very profitable venture, it did generate an enthusiasm that charted a course for Geoff’s life that he has never abandoned. After high school, he attended a technical school and furthered his knowledge in electronics.

Geoff went to work for an electronics distribution company in 1979 in which he became involved with sales and installation of various products including professional sound systems, industrial audio and paging systems, intercom systems, and security systems.

Geoff started Safe n’ Sound in February of 1987. In 1988, the company joined the Tennessee Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (TBFAA). Geoff held several TBFAA offices including Northeast Region Vice-President in 1995, Treasurer in 1996, Secretary in 1997, President-Elect in 1998, and President in 1999.

Geoff is the Owner and Company President of Safe n’ Sound, as such he provides vision and direction for the company. His day to day activities include employee support, sales, marketing, and general company management.
