Safe n’ Sound Creative Technologies is hiring for the position of Installer/Technician. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent character, and an interest in a long term career. Job site experience is not required but interest, aptitude, and a good work ethic are all a must. Business hours are generally Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 but are not fixed hours and can vary greatly from week to week.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1: System installation, programming, and testing of:
Security, Structured Wiring, Audio/Video, Home Theater, Etc.
2: Customer demonstration, customer training, paperwork, and activation of the various systems we provide.
3: Service of the various systems we provide.
4: Sales lead generation as opportunities arise.
5: Employee must take a personal interest in continuing to build their knowledge by spending time on a regular basis to keep abreast of the new technologies in our industry.
This position requires the physical abilities and dexterity to safely work with a variety of powered and non-powered tools as well as the ability to safely climb and work from ladders or scaffolding. In addition, some lifting of weights as heavy as 75lbs to 80lbs will be required.
General compensation guidelines:
-Company provided cell phone, iPad, and laptop for company use.
-Company provided truck for company use between our warehouse and job sites.
-2 weeks paid vacation per year pro-rated monthly and starting after a 90 day probational period.
-Starting pay average between $12-15.00 per hour depending on experience.
-Training in the various system types Safe n’ Sound installs.
Employee must provide the following:
-Their own reliable transportation to/from home and the warehouse.
-General hand tools (screw drivers, wire cutters/strippers, battery powered drill/saw, etc.)
